Chick-fil-A Sr. Project Lead, Supply Chain in Atlanta, Georgia
Overview
The Sr. Project Lead is responsible for serving as the Supply Chain project manager and sourcing lead for a portfolio of new food-touching equipment and smallware projects, spanning all phases of Chick-fil-A’s innovation process (Understand, Imagine, Prototype, Validate, Launch). Working closely with key crossfunctional stakeholders, including Production Design, Legal, Restaurant Development, Restaurant Food Safety, etc.), the Sr. Project Lead will influence scopes, timelines, and objectives in accordance with Supply Chain capabilities; identify, vet, and contract suppliers to ensure food safety, continuity, quality, and stewardship objectives are met and tradeoffs are aligned upon organizationally. The Sr. Project Lead will manage supplier performance and ensure seamless implementation of solutions into the field, ensuring success for entire lifecycle of assets deployed.

Responsibilities
Identify suppliers that can meet needs, vet capabilities to serve the brand, solicit samples/prototypes, provide feedback from business evaluation and communicate budgetary targets and timelines
Lead development agreement negotiation as necessary working with supplier and legal counsel both internal and external to CFA
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
Bring potential new products/technology from suppliers to attention of stakeholders in production design teams
Lead interactions with potential suppliers to determine capacity, quality & budget required to successfully Launch programs
Identify smallwares required for projects and ensure supply chain is properly established with same criteria as equipment
Influence supplier selection in line with strategic equipment supplier roadmap
Consider warranty and non-warranty service capabilities of partners along with ability to scale/transact on a global basis
Ensure project tasks are clearly communicated and executed on time
Report project status to key stakeholders and leadership, escalating high risk situations as needed
Execute seamless, disruption-free implementation of tests and rollouts
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain
5 years of proven project management experience
Strong interpersonal relationship skills
Ability to work collaboratively at all levels and to influence stakeholders throughout the organization, specifically external equipment suppliers, engineering (Production and Design) and legal
Able to anticipate needs, lead multiple projects, collaborate in a team environment, and manage shifting priorities
Organized with attention to detail and follow up
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to problem solve
Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentation
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management or project coordination experience
Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, and Sharepoint
Supply Chain or purchasing education, experience, or certifications
Project management education or certification
Experience working with equipment manufacturers
Experience with food equipment performance in a restaurant setting
Experience in negotiating complex legal terms
