Sr. Advanced Software Engineer for Honeywell International, Inc. in Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities:

Work on the Honeywell Security Product line.

Design and create software products in the Internet of Things (IoT) space which can on-board access control devices to the Azure cloud, manage user access to the space and also deliver features to log, monitor and control site security.

The job duties include understanding software requirements for security products.

Design software architecture and coding.

Develop micro-services using C#, Dot Net framework, Swagger, MS-SQL, and MongoDB databases.

Coding in multiple languages and write unit test cases for code validation.

Integration of devices with software and cloud infrastructure.

Use Bamboo and Jenkins tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery of the application on different environment.

Work in the agile work environment using JIRA tool.

Work on database to query relational and non-relation databases.

Enforce code versioning using Git and BitBucket versioning tool.

Suggest database and architectural designs and improvements for the security products of Honeywell.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

•Location: Atlanta, GA

•40 hours/week

•Employee Referral Fee: $1500

YOU MUST HAVE:

Qualified candidates will possess a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and two (2) years of experience as a software engineer or a related position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in stated fields and five (5) years of experience as a software engineer or a related position. Full term of experience must include: Industry experience with Dot Net technologies; developing micro-services; database management and design with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL Server, MS-SQL, MongoDB; CICD and Devops activities like application monitoring, troubleshooting and deployments; working in the Agile framework; and a strong OOPS understanding. Up to 5% domestic/international travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 times per week.
