The Business Applications Finance Team is chartered with building a sustainable & high growth cloud and AI business. The team helps establish and drive both tactical and strategic business execution, assesses business performance, generates critical insights, forms investment and trade-off decisions, and shapes business transformation.
The Central FP&A team drives insights across several key areas like Sales, Strategy, Usage and Partner with a focus to accelerate revenue, communicate the health of the business and run a smooth and efficient rhythm of the business. We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager - Business Applications to be the Usage finance lead for Business Applications, acting as a strategic and trusted advisor to senior leaders across CSU, MCAPS and Finance.

Responsibilities
Owns end-to-end rhythm of the business for usage including reporting, analysis of results and presentation to leadership
Manages worldwide Planning for usage incl. methodology definition, modeling, target setting and July update process
Conceptualizes and designs new approaches to usage metrics that tells the story around our progress in AI in support of external momentum and earnings communication partnering closely with Marketing and Investor Relations
Partners closely with Finance Data & Experiences (FD&E) on usage and consumption telemetry and data requirements
Maintains close relationship with WWIC re. design and execution of usage compensation metrics
Own and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Build and manage relationships across different functions Customer Success Unit ((CSU), Engineering, Field and Finance) to drive business impact

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 4+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 2+ years post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
OR equivalent experience
This role requires you to be onsite at our Redmond, WA or Atlanta, GA hub 3 days a week.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ of years experience modeling in Excel
Robust analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to drive simplicity within a complex and matrixed environment
Team player with the ability to manage across organizational boundaries and build on the work of others
Robust communication, cross-group collaboration and interpersonal skills
Able to distill complicated material in an executive-ready manner and influence through effective storytelling
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Knowledge of internal Microsoft Finance tools (e.g., MS Sales)
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
