Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our Baby and Parenting Quality Team, specifically focusing on the Graco brand, within the Learning and Development segment. The Quality Engineer will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of our baby and parenting products, ensuring they meet stringent safety and performance criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance processes and protocols for Graco baby and parenting products.

• Conduct thorough root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and supply chain, to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.

• Perform regular audits and inspections of products and processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.

• Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement.

• Provide training and support to team members and other stakeholders on quality assurance procedures and best practices.

• Participate in the development and review of product specifications, test plans, and risk assessments in the new product development process (APQP).

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of quality processes, test results, and corrective actions.

• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality engineering, applying this knowledge to enhance processes and products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably within the consumer goods industry.

• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to baby and parenting products is a plus.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.

• Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) or related certification is a plus.
