Lead Cloud Engineer positions offered by Rapidscale Inc. (Atlanta, GA). Deploy cloud environments based on agreed upon architectures, navigating clients through the application integration phase, and taking clients to the finish line with go-live. Participate in architecture design and reviews, and review of clients' existing environments as part of a well-architected process. Lead client projects spanning a wide range of activities including cloud deployments, migrations to cloud, assessments of client cloud environments from the perspective of best practices, security and compliance, cost, automation and more. Represent Rapidscale's cloud enablement and management capabilities to prospective customers and existing customer base, and influence customer expectations according to product and management capabilities and constraints. Determine client requirements and provide solution design and technical descriptions. Work with our Managed Services team to provide smooth transition of customer environments for ongoing management that involves documentation, diagrams and transition sessions at completion of each project. Mentor junior members of the team and present ongoing technical training to junior members of the team. Develop and grow internal technical knowledge base on the entire cloud infrastructure stack. Follow internal best practices to ensure cloud environments are deployed and configured in a highly available, scalable, secure and compliant fashion. Evaluate and standardize cloud platforms, 3rd-party tools, and technologies to enhance our cloud processes and solutions for our customers. Serve as a thought leader on the technical aspects of our cloud services and the industry, which includes Cloud Computing on Azure, Migrations to Azure, Professional Services and Consulting engagements, Security/Compliance Cervices, Automation/DevOps, and Outsourced IT Infrastructure Solutions.

**Minimum Requirements:

Requires a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 6 years of experience in the position offered or 6 years of experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining cloud environments on Azure. Also requires 6 years of experience: deploying resources on Azure using IaC (Terraform); scripting, querying, or using Command Line Interface (CLI); working with core Azure networking components; using VCS, Azure DevOps, and Git; performing system administration with Windows or Linux; and using Resource Graph Query, Powershell, Azure CLI, Azure API calls, or KQL. In lieu of a bachelors degree and 6 years of experience as stated, the employer will accept a masters or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 4 years of experience as stated, or a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 1 year of experience as stated. Must have Expert-level Azure certification. Compensation includes a base salary of $155,605. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidates knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
