Oldcastle APG, Inc.'s 2024 Summer Internship Program is designed to provide a professional environment for undergraduate students to gain real-world experience at a global industry-leading manufacturer of concrete building and hardscape products. The program will run from early June through early August and will provide exposure to valuable learning opportunities within the corporate functions of the organization through assignments, projects, and collaboration. This is the perfect opportunity for undergraduate students to apply their knowledge and creativity to a growth-oriented company with headquarters in Atlanta, GA.

Position Summary

APG IT Interns work on real-world projects in collaboration with highly skilled Functional, Technical and Data Analytics experts from around the world. The internship program is designed to provide you with hands on experience working in your field of specialization as well as building your own network of IT practitioners within a customer driven culture. Throughout the internship you will:

Gain hands-on experience with various cloud based enterprise technologies eg. Salesforce, Oracle TMS, Infor M3, Tableau, Snowflake, ServiceNow Work closely with your team, manager and mentors to develop requirements, estimate costs, create and implement features and services Experience technical disciplines such as Agile and ITIL throughout the duration of your internship

Strong communication, planning, critical thinking, and organizing skills Able to analyze data, solve problems, make decisions, remain open minded to alternative thinking and solutions, and continuously improve Experience translating customer requirements into Agile user stories Analytical by nature Detail Oriented Works well in a collaborative and team environment Has a keen interest in problem solving especially with large amounts of data Has an interest in learning business applications

Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements

Students pursuing Bachelor's Degree Program in Junior year of College or Third year of University (Anticipated Graduation date of Fall 2024 or Spring 2025) Concentration in computer science, engineering, data science, accounting/finance, supply chain/manufacturing, or related technical major Completed an Introduction to Computer Science course (or equivalent class) Ability to attend program hosted in Atlanta, GA Strong willingness to learn
