Description
We're seeking an Enterprise Imaging Architect to lead architecture, design and integration for the IT imaging teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and maintains the enterprise imaging solutions, analyzes and aligns the enterprise solutions with the business needs, defines and maintains the data integration architecture, plans and designs the future state of the imaging solutions and provides imaging best practices and guidelines.
Evaluates new technologies and defines how to maximize the benefits of those technologies such as PACS, CPACS, MacLab/CardioLab, Epic Radiant and Cupid.
Participates in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of imaging related software product standards, and the design of standard and custom configurations.
Creates and presents a holistic imaging architecture vision, analyzes the current imaging environment to identify critical deficiencies in designs and proposes solutions for improvement.
Participates in planning, definition, and high-level design of solutions, explores solution alternatives, and develops required documentation.
Gathers business requirements from physicians, administrators and other key stakeholders, turning those requirements into solutions, analyzing current systems, and developing improvements to systems where applicable.
Designs, plans and implements upgrades and new imaging solutions. Reviews and promotes the imaging architecture process, its outcomes, and ongoing value to the business and stakeholders.
Understands, masters and references the imaging business requirements and integration needs; defines, develops and maintains the imaging solution and application standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or related field OR minimum 15 years' experience in the IT imaging field.
10 years of experience with imaging or similar IT application.
Prior experience in IT imaging workflow designing and implementing roles in large-scale, distributed and complex IT environments.
