What You'll Do:

The primary responsibility of the Director, SOX Compliance and Financial Controls is to ensure the company's adherence to regulatory requirements outlined in Sarbanes Oxley Act. Your duties include developing, implementing, and overseeing internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and SOX compliance. Oversee and manage the global SOX program Perform scoping requirements for annual testing and compliance and collaborate with both the Internal and External Audit teams to align and finalize in scope locations and controls Work with Internal Audit on control testing requirements, timelines, and expectations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate risks related to financial reporting Design and implement internal control processes to comply with SOX regulations and other internal initiatives Provide training and guidance to employees on SOX compliance requirements Maintain documentation and reports for internal and external audits Work with management and controls owners on control remediation efforts to address open issues and deficiencies noted by audit teams and report results and readiness for re-testing Keep abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and updating policies accordingly Serve as liaison with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process Ownership of the company's Financial and IT Risk and Control Matrix Manage and execute other internal compliance programs, including the 302-certification program, User Access Reviews (UAR), SOC report assessments and other applicable requirements. Manage the SOX hotline Establish and maintain relationships with the key control owners, including management and other risk and governance team members globally Other duties and special projects as requested

What Experience and Education You Need: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent required Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor required Big 4 or Tier 2 public accounting firm experience with public company auditing required At least 7 years' experience in Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, or other relevant functions within a public company required Open to both domestic and international travel of up to 10%

What Could Set You Apart: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required Excellent knowledge of SOX requirements and thorough understanding of US GAAP required Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required Knowledge of AuditBoard's SOX Hub application preferred Ability to work in a team environment with a focus on partnership approach Ability to perform well under pressure and in a complex and dynamic environment Demonstrate consistency, flexibility, and commitment to meet deadlines (ability to accommodate to differences in time zone, while adhering to strict deadlines). Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, to direct, train and motivate employees Very strong organizational and analytical skills
