Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Design-Build Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience in highway and or transit improvement projects. This position will be part of our design-build team and manage current and upcoming highways, tollways, and rail projects in Southeast US.

As a Project Manager, you will utilize your experience and technical knowledge of design-build projects to deliver project success for Arcadis and our clients. You will have the opportunity to coordinate all aspects of projects with various stakeholders in order to ensure the successful completion of the projects within the established budget, time, quality, and safety parameters.

Role accountabilities: Take overall responsibility for managing projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, oversight, control, and completion. Ensure the overall success of projects by maintaining high standards of quality, monitoring progress, managing budgets, and ensuring client satisfaction. Lead a diverse team of designers to complete tasks and designs according to the client's schedule. Serve as the primary point of contact for design staff, addressing contractors' requests for information (RFIs) and reviewing shop drawings. Conduct design meetings with client personnel to coordinate concurrent initiatives and support program/project delivery. Conduct technical and commercial reviews of design-build contract documents, technical requirements, and reference documents. Provide input on the company's decision-making process for undertaking or declining design-build projects. Manage project financial performance, budgets, and change order efforts. Ensure overall project success by meeting financial targets, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to project schedules.

Required Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of design-build project experience with public sector clients Prior experience as a Project Manager Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Construction Management, etc.) Professional Engineer License in one of these states - NC, SC, GA, or FL or ability to get one within 12 months of hire

Key Attributes: Demonstrated ability to work with multiple contractor clients both during tender phase and detailed design phases of design-build projects. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Strong Commercial mindset and business acumen. Excellent management skills to manage Arcadis personnel, sub-consultants and remain responsive to client. Develops/implements project delivery solutions. Represents the company to internal and external clients and markets. Motivates, and builds staff into a cohesive team to achieve project and career goals and objectives. Strong Mentoring and Leadership skills to facilitate Team Development requirements.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
