Our Consulting Practice in Greece is currently planning to hire one experienced Cloud Engagement Lead for our team based in Athens.

Key Skills/Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in a similar position, including 6+ years of technical experience and at least 2 years of experience in a Technical Lead or a Technical PM role.

  • Experience with Project management methodologies.

  • Experience with Cloud Solutions, Architectures and Landing Zone designs.

  • Experience with DevOps processes.

  • Experience with Cloud Native, Kubernetes and Microservices.

  • Experience with Backend Technologies, preferably Java and Java Frameworks.

  • Experience with Frontend Technologies, preferably Javascript React.

  • Experience with SQL (preferably on Oracle DB)

  • Experience with IaC, preferably Terraform.

  • Experience with Git

  • Experience with Maven/Gradle

Responsibilities

What you will do:

As an acknowledged authority within Oracle, you will be working with a high level of autonomy to deliver success in one of our strategic accounts playing the role of the engagement lead. You will be leading projects and presales activities with the assistance of less senior resources. You will be responsible for the analysis and the technical design of software solutions and will be leading a team of engineers to develop and deliver it.

As a Cloud Engagement Lead you will:

  • Become a trusted technical advisor to customers and design complex Cloud solutions.

  • Work closely with customers, either from a technical or non-technical standpoint, to deliver a solution that fulfils or exceeds their requirements.

  • Engage with customers to ensure service needs are being met and deliverables perfectly fit Oracle’s high-quality standard

  • Delivering innovative, modern multi-channel applications leveraging cloud-native paradigms and digital contents

  • Delivering enterprise-scale integrations between existing and new applications

  • Migrating customer workloads from on-prem to Oracle Cloud, from infrastructure design to go-live – up to transforming the entire customer data center

In the above context, you will be responsible to:

  • Participate/lead the design and delivery of projects.

  • Design and define complex IT solutions leveraging IaaS & PaaS cloud services and cloud-native technologies.

  • Produce quality documentation for solution designs.

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality cloud applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze system specifications, and contribute to the solutions' life cycle.

  • Estimate the effort and, plan and guide project activities.

  • Review deliverables as applicable. Enforce coding standards and best practices within the development team.

  • Monitor project progress and performance, tracking key metrics and milestones to identify deviations and take corrective actions as needed.

  • Participate in presales and bidding process.
