Description:
MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST
Perform various chemical and bacteriological tests.
Working closely with urine, blood, and tissue samples, prepare and examine specimen samples and communicate test results to medical professionals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science.
Certification: American Medical Technologist (AMT) or American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Certified or Eligible for Certification.
At least 12 months clinic or hospital experience.

1 Fulltime position for
Medical Technologist;
perform various chemical and bacteriological tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases in the department of Hematology, Chemistry, Toxicology, Immunohematology and Bacteriology. In a hospital, setting, observe, monitor, record, interpret and report results on test performed with accuracy; Operate computers, equipment and analyzers and response to the instrument needs such as reagent, quality control and calibrations; Prepares reagent, performs quality control, does troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on the analyzers per manufacturer and department specifications
.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
:
Education
: Bachelors degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science;Certification:American Medical Technologist (AMT) or American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Certified or Eligible for Certification.
