Ensure a high level of safety at all times. Follow required cleaning and sanitizing procedures.No minimum education or experience required.Basic knife skills required.Must pass a post-employment criminal background check, paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. andforeign/H-2B.Must be able to obtain ServSafe Food Handlers Certification.Must be able to work at least 5-day work schedule.Must be able to work weekends and holidays.Applicants must complete an employment application.Employer will offer a minimum 35 hours of work per week. Resort is open 7 days a week, workdays will vary Sundaythrough Saturday. Normal shifts: 8am-4pm, 3pm-11pm, 2pm-10pm, 7am-3pm, 5am-1pm. Workdays and shift times mayvary with events and occupancy.Basic wage rate: $20.00 per hour. Employer may increase wage based on experience, performance, tenure, and/or marketconditions. Overtime hours may be available at $30.00 per hour. An overtime premium will be paid when required byFederal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek.Employer will provide on-the-job training.A single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly.Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law.Optional employee-shared housing available at approximately $125-$140 per week. Optional uniform shoes available forpurchase, approximately $30-$60 depending on style. Cost of housing and shoes payroll deducted if worker elects. Oneoptional meal is available per shift in employee cafeteria at approx. $3-$5.If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportationand subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where theworker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation andsubsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return dueto subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntaryabandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the mosteconomical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least$15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59 per day with receipts. If necessary, employer will reimburse workerwithin first pay period for approved cost of meals and lodging at the applicable exchange rate, not to exceed reasonablecosts. Receipts must be submitted.Housing and worksite are accessible by public transportation. Resort employees can ride the city bus for free. Dailytransportation between housing and worksite is available at no cost to worker via city bus.The employer will reimburse H-2B workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and otherrelated fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).The employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform job. Required uniformprovided at no charge to the worker.The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week periodof the total employment period.
