We have an opportunity for a talented, innovative, hands-on, customer-focused Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with a passion for developing and implementing programs in support of the business at Cadmus. This role reports to the CHRO.

Responsibilities

You will interface effectively with professionals at all levels employing your excellent communications and interpersonal skills to function in an innovative and ever-changing environment. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate your clients’ business plans and goals into programs that achieve results are a key factor for success in this role.  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR leader for Public Services Division 

  • Understand how large organizations work, including how to get things done and the ability to manage diverse and potentially conflicting perspectives

  • Can persevere and adapt as required, while working in a multi-faceted and sometimes ambiguous environment

  • Act as primary POC for all employee relations issues, including conducting thorough investigations and be able to make recommendations to leadership as necessary and appropriate

  • Responsible for working across the organization to resolve employees’ questions either directly or indirectly

  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and HR compliance

  • Partner with division operations and recruiting leadership to develop talent and retention strategies to support business growth in a dynamic and engaging environment to include a sustainable pipeline of diverse talent

  • Collaborate with the HR team to lead key HR objectives and programs, including performance management, career pathing, training and development, employee relations, compliance, and additional efforts related to the employee experience

  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage diverse teams

  • Coach staff managers in career development, retention programs, leadership, and management practices

  • Lead the Division-level on-boarding and off-boarding programs

  • Review and analyze division metrics including data on employee engagement surveys, hiring, retention, and related reporting to support continuous improvement

  • Leverage a high level of emotional intelligence to develop meaningful relationships, and successfully navigate diverse stakeholder groups

  • Act as point-of-contact for guidance on compensation actions, including individual promotions, equity adjustments and related actions

  • Provide performance management guidance to line management for coaching, counseling, career development, and related actions

  • Participate in M&A activities and projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience with 15+ years of experience in an HR generalist leadership role

  • Preferred certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP and/or PMP with strong business acumen in the government consulting space

  • Excellent composition, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with a proven ability to follow up in a timely manner

  • Demonstrated achievements in coaching, influencing and problem solving with all levels of leadership

  • Exceptional ability to influence and partner with other HRBPs and leverage team professionals (talent acquisition, compensation, DEIA, employee relations, Contracts,

  • Accounting) across different functions and locations

  • Functional knowledge of key federal and state regulations, Acts and laws

  • Proven ability to operate with autonomy and discretion and use sound judgment in all situations

  • Excellent functioning in Microsoft tools, PowerPoint, email, TEAMS, Excel, etc.

  • Familiarity/practice with HRIS systems such as Workday

Additional Information:

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen

  • Office location is Arlington, Virginia in the Ballston area and this role is hybrid with two days minimum required in office

Based on eligibility and job status, Cadmus offers an excellent benefits package to include: medical, dental, vision, company paid disability and life insurance, 401(k) program, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, voluntary time off (VTO), tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance program, other optional benefits and various bonus programs.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $170,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
