The Work:
Deliver quality via Commissioning/Emulation, Testing, and Simulation, as well as direct oversight and inspection of systems design, installation, and programming.
Be the go-to person on site to operate and maintain the BAS system for the client.
Maintain and improve client relationships with all engineering disciplines and identify and develop new business opportunities.
Ensure Building Automation systems are optimized and ready to meet the mission of controlling and monitoring all the points without alarms and overrides.
Update programming on graphics displays, and other cool human interactions on control systems.
Here's what you need:
Proficiency (2+ years) with BACnet , LON, MODBUS, including HMIs is preferred. Other related HVAC or industrial automation, programming, or installation experience may be substituted based on skill set of candidate.
Proficiency (2+ years) with field installation, maintenance or programming BAS such as Metasys™, DisTech™, Niagara™, or similar building automation system.
Demonstrable knowledge of Automation Networks such as BACnet, LON, MODBUS, and others and specifically Industrial/Automation IP networking. You have to know how to get the laptop plugged and connected to the right controller.
Proficiency in configuring, maintaining and calibrating Building Automation technology components, and connectivity.
Bonus points if:
You have an OSHA 30 hour certificate
You have a bachelor's degree in engineering, or another related discipline or a 2-year associates degree in BAS, HVAC Controls, or HVAC engineering technologies.
The range of starting pay for this role is $74,800 - $117,400 based on your ability and experience.
