The Work:

  • Deliver quality via Commissioning/Emulation, Testing, and Simulation, as well as direct oversight and inspection of systems design, installation, and programming.

  • Be the go-to person on site to operate and maintain the BAS system for the client.

  • Maintain and improve client relationships with all engineering disciplines and identify and develop new business opportunities.

  • Ensure Building Automation systems are optimized and ready to meet the mission of controlling and monitoring all the points without alarms and overrides.

  • Update programming on graphics displays, and other cool human interactions on control systems.

Here's what you need:

  • Proficiency (2+ years) with BACnet , LON, MODBUS, including HMIs is preferred. Other related HVAC or industrial automation, programming, or installation experience may be substituted based on skill set of candidate.

  • Proficiency (2+ years) with field installation, maintenance or programming BAS such as Metasys™, DisTech™, Niagara™, or similar building automation system.

  • Demonstrable knowledge of Automation Networks such as BACnet, LON, MODBUS, and others and specifically Industrial/Automation IP networking. You have to know how to get the laptop plugged and connected to the right controller.

  • Proficiency in configuring, maintaining and calibrating Building Automation technology components, and connectivity.

Bonus points if:

  • You have an OSHA 30 hour certificate

  • You have a bachelor's degree in engineering, or another related discipline or a 2-year associates degree in BAS, HVAC Controls, or HVAC engineering technologies.

The range of starting pay for this role is $74,800 - $117,400 based on your ability and experience.
