ManTech Master Scheduler in Arlington, Virginia

ManTech seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Master Scheduler SME to join our team in supporting both Sterling and Rosslyn, Virginia locations.

The Protective Technology Branch (PTB) Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Master Scheduler will assist the Protective Technology Branch with developing, modifying, and maintaining project schedules and the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall Master Program/Project Schedule.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in tracking project schedule, cost, and technical performance.

  • Provide project-specific support by providing observations and recommendations on the project (e.g., impacts to schedules, impacts to budgets, possible impacts to other projects).

  • Track, analyze, and report information appropriately to allow the project teams to manage their projects and evaluate weekly reports.

  • Work with Project and Program Leads to develop detailed schedules and assists in keeping these schedules current.

  • Monitor projects’ progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to dates.

  • Track baselines, perform what-if analysis, and develop contingency plans.

  • Provide support on the development of business Dashboard developments.

  • Work with Client Business Intelligence (BI) users to develop and publish reports, dashboards, operational, ad hoc reporting from conceptual and technical solution designs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Position requires bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of relevant work experience or Associates with nine (9) years of experience.

  • Must have 3 years of experience using MS Project

  • Familiarization with SharePoint Online, the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Project Web App (PWA).

  • Requires a detail-oriented self-starter experienced in supporting senior Government leaders and other technical/business professionals.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint are required.

  • May be required to travel CONUS and OCONUS to support PTB operational requirements, special projects, and joint initiatives. OCONUS travel may include critical threat locations around the world with austere living conditions.

  • Relevant work experience must be in building and analyzing project schedules/processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous work with (or in support of) Diplomatic Security missions is preferred.

Clearance Requirements

  • Must have a current/active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
