Summary About the Position: This position is with the National Guard Bureau, Human Capital Management, Civilian Management Branch, Arlington, VA. Responsibilities Utilize automated equipment and applications designed for the support of Force Management and Force Documentation system. Prepare correspondence for the signature of the Branch Chief and Deputy Director for the organization. Develop guidelines and procedures for reviews of Army National Guard manning and authorization documentation. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Analyze organizational structures and business processes, current and projected staff levels and organizational changes and change initiatives; analyze and evaluate organizational structure and manpower change requests from internal staff; provide guidance and information regarding personnel/force structure allocations; develop guidelines and procedures for reviews of organizations manning and authorization documents. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service (GS-12 or equivalent). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Organizational Awareness Planning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
