The Wilmer Eye Institute is seeking a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our staff.
The successful applicant will work in busy medical and surgical practice at our academic medical center, and will contribute to the educational and academic mission of the group. The position includes status as a full-time faculty member of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and as full-time active staff of the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
- The referenced salary range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. This salary range does not include all components of the Department of Ophthalmology faculty compensation program or pay from participation in the Department of Ophthalmology incentive compensation programs. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the salary range stated herein. For more information, please contact the hiring department.
Requirements include the completion of an accredited residency training program in Ophthalmology and board certification or board eligibility. Fellowship training in cornea or glaucoma is preferred, but is not required.
Salary: Dependent upon rank, Instructor $133,000 - 164,000, Assistant Professor $143,000 - - $213,000, Associate Professor $168,000 - $273,000, Professor $193,000 - $313,000*
