Program Manager – Cybersecurity Policy, Communications, and Training

Texas Health Resources is looking for a top skilled Program Manager with Cybersecurity Policy, Communications, and Training experience. Is that you?

Work location: Texas Health Resources 612 E. Lamar Blvd TX 76011

Primarily remote however must live in Texas area or be willing to relocate.

Work hours: Full-time, Day shift; 40 hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Here’s What You Need

Education

· Bachelor's Degree Business, Education, English, Liberal Arts, or relevant field. 4 Years Relevant experience in lieu of a degree (Requied)

​​​​​​ Experience

3 Years Professional experience in one or more of the following capacities:

  • Policy writing, development, deployment, and management;

  • Program management including report writing, communications, and awareness development within a corporate environment.

  • Training and curriculum program development.

  • Developing and leading programs, projects, or initiatives across multiple organizational stakeholder groups. (Required)

  • Experience in healthcare and/or cybersecurity (Preferred)

  • Quality-driven and attention to detail is a must.

  • Deep understanding of policy and standards development and deployment process.

  • Strong organizational skills, a customer service orientation, and excellent execution and follow-through skills.

  • Ability to apply standard project management approaches.

  • Strong self-confidence, excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external parties.

  • Strong performance accountability orientation, both in terms of following through on commitments and deadlines.

  • Exceptional written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, including sharing ideas and information across diverse audiences and creating compelling presentations and content.

What You Will Do

The Program Manager, Cybersecurity Policy Communications & Training supports policy, standards, communications, and training development, management, and oversight needs of the Cybersecurity Program.

Training Development and Management

  • Lead the development and management of cybersecurity training and certification program.

  • Develop, review, and deploy cybersecurity curriculum, training, and education products.

  • Develop and manage schedule training product delivery.

  • Working with program stakeholders perform training needs assessments.

  • Develop metrics and measures to track training compliance and training effectiveness.

  • Working with program stakeholders to address and resolve training compliance deficiencies.

Policy and Standards Development and Management

  • Research and develop policies and standards that are compliant with federal, state regulations and industry practices

  • Manage policy and standards review schedule.

  • Collaborating with peers and stakeholders, identify gaps in policies and standards

Communications Management

  • Leads the development and management of a cybersecurity awareness and communications program.

  • Work with stakeholders to coordinate and develop cybersecurity awareness communications.

  • Assess the effectiveness of communication awareness products.

Professional/Personal Growth

  • Complete annual training requirements.

  • Engage in professional training opportunities.

  • Maintain compliance with corporate and department policies, procedures, and standards.
