Annual Giving Specialist

Location: 3100 Communications Parkway, Plano, TX 75093 – Hybrid

Environment: Foundation Annual Fund – North Region: Collin and Denton Counties

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm – Occasional evening hours as needed.

The Annual Giving Specialist is responsible for annual giving fundraising, donor engagement activities and programs specific to hospital entities within their assigned region. In addition to supporting the Foundation's annual campaigns, the specialist will maintain a portfolio of donors and prospects and solicit gifts up to $25,000 from individuals, foundations, corporations to meet the goals and objectives of the Foundation and Texas Health. What you’ll do includes portfolio management, annual campaigns, donor engagement and data management.

Here’s What You Need

· High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

· Bachelor's degree is preferred.

· Three (3) years of experience in volunteer management and fund development or three (3) years of marketing/sales experience is required.

· Direct fund solicitation experience is preferred.

A successful Annual Giving Specialist will:

· Have excellent written and verbal skills in addition to proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Ability to effectively articulate the mission/vision of the Foundation and the entities we represent and demonstrated experience in working with individuals who have philanthropic capacity.
