Description We are offering a role within the education industry situated in ARLINGTON, Texas, 76013-6246, United States. The position is for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This role involves handling accounts payable duties in an educational setting. This short-term contract employment opportunity is an excellent chance to apply your skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and contribute to our team.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable for the institution.

• Ensure timely processing and review of invoices.

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports on AP.

• Perform monthly reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.

• Coordinate with the financial team to ensure accurate and timely payment of all expenses.

• Manage vendor relationships and handle inquiries related to accounts payable.

• Maintain and update vendor files in the AP system.

• Assist in the implementation of financial policies and procedures related to accounts payable.

• Collaborate with other team members on financial projects as needed.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and internal guidelines. Requirements • Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent educational certification.

• Demonstrable experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar financial position.

• Proficiency in using Accounts Payable (AP) software and other financial management tools.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial data.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information.

• Willingness to continuously improve and update knowledge and skills.

• Knowledge of general accounting principles and regulations.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
