Oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of caring for the mink on a year-round basis. Work and instruct others in the correct procedures of: feeding mink; observing the water system for mink; proper handling and care of mink, including ailments and administering medicine when needed. Assist with the breeding and whelping process. Harvest mink fur in wintertime. Coordinate with team to ensure all procedures are being followed. Report to supervisor when there are problems to address. Construct and maintain facilities for mink sheds, including winterization of sheds. In the winter, ensure mink are in proper condition to breed and raise healthy kits and pay special care and attention to minks needs. Responsible for carrying out tasks issued by supervisor and responsible for managing up to five hourly employees in the execution of tasks. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds. Must be able to operate custom mink industry machinery for care of animals. Employer provided housing in location near worksite.

**Requirements: High school diploma or GED and one year experience as a mammal caretaker or occupation in caring for and feeding mammals.
