Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated EVS Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to clean non-occupied patient rooms, ensuring they are thoroughly disinfected and meet our high standards of cleanliness. This role involves deep cleaning, making beds, flipping mattresses, and handling linens. The position also requires cleaning isolation rooms while following strict safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Deep clean non-occupied patient rooms, taking an average of 20-30 minutes per room.
Make beds, flip mattresses, and thoroughly clean and disinfect entire rooms.
Handle and lift large, heavy bags of linens and dispose of them properly.
Clean isolation rooms, following strict safety measures including mopping with a string mop and wearing a full gown and mask.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
Essential Skills
Strong attendance record.
Punctuality and reliability to work required hours and shifts.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, nurses, doctors, and the housekeeping team.
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work with difficult people.
Physical ability to lift 50lbs and push 200lbs.
At least 6 months of previous hospital or hotel cleaning/housekeeping experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Direct experience in hospitals is a plus.

Work Environment
The EVS Technician will work in a hospital setting, often independently, making self-motivation an important trait. Shifts are available for 2nd Shift (3PM-11PM) with a rotating schedule that includes weekdays and weekends. The dress code requires no facial piercings, covered tattoos, and the avoidance of heavy fragrances to maintain a professional and patient-friendly atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
