Job Title: Tire Technician

Job Description

As a Tire Technician, you will be tasked with mounting and dismounting large commercial tires, determining their repairability or need for replacement, and removing tires for retreading. You will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the service equipment to ensure optimal operation.

This is a fully on-site position in APPLETON, WI.

Work Environment

You will be working in a commercial tire center which is a smaller shop environment. The equipment for mounting is large and the center handles large tires. The facility is older but well-lit, though it tends to be dirtier than typical shops since it exclusively services tires. The temperature varies, being warm in summer and cooler in winter due to frequently opened overhead doors. Work hours are between 7 AM and 5 PM from Monday to Friday, totaling a 40 to 45-hour work week. After gaining experience, you will also participate in a 24-hour call service, exclusive to this center, including potential night service calls.
