Who will you be working with?

You will support our Motor manufacturing facility in Apodaca, N.L and the global function groups located in Mexico. You will provide full-service HR support and act as an HR partner to site business leaders. This role will require you to operate as a balanced employee advocate and continually improve our site culture.

How will you make a difference?

The Senior Manager HR will develop and continuous fine tune a strategic HR direction which include overseeing the recruitment process, training, labor, union relations, design company policies. This function will also lead and oversee human resources support from a local perspective to different functions, such as Digital, Finance and Treasury and help shape our employer brand strategy.

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college

  • A minimum of 8 years of professional work experience in the Human Resources function with responsibilities in HR coordination, recruiting, labor and employee relations, training, compensation, performance evaluations, coaching, change management, and budget management.

  • Strong knowledge of Mexican Labor Law and labor law changes.

  • Conflict Management.

  • Demonstrates a big-picture understanding of the business, its interrelationships, and priorities.

  • Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels with a strong customer service focus.

  • Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led cross functional projects/process improvement, strong analytical skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment.

  • Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, able to provide feedback and address employee issues in a positive manner.

  • Support current and future business needs through developing, engaging, motivating, and preserving human capital.

  • Nurture a positive working environment.

  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.

  • Bargain Contract Negotiations.

  • Budget management.

  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

  • Align HR policies and programs for their business unit or country which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
