The MAA is currently accepting applications for the Executive Associate I position within the Division of BWI Operations and Maintenance. at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall Airport).

The Executive Associate I provides administrative support and office management to the Chief of the Division of BWI Operations and Maintenance. The incumbent in this role will function as the office manager for the BWI Operations and Maintenance Division Chief.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Position functions as an Office Manager directing the flow of mail, e-mail, correspondence, and telecommunications to the appropriate Senior Management Team members.

  • Maintaining and protecting both Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and Security Sensitive Information (SSI) that are received and maintained within the Division of BWI Operations and Maintenance.

  • Researching and investigating issues received in the Chief’s Office and assigns them to the appropriate Deputy Chief, Director, or appropriate staff, ensuring responses contain all of the relevant information.

  • Serving as the Division's primary point of contact for the MDOT Workflow Intranet Quorum (IQ) and the Intranet Content Manager (ICM).

  • Providing guidance and support to the Administrative Assistants, within the Division, related to payroll, correspondence, EPICS, Maximo, and other policies and procedures.

  • Arranges all hotel, travel, training, and expense reports for the Division employees through use of a Corporate Purchasing Card.

    This position is an emergency essential position. All employees designated as emergency essential are required to be available to work during weather, operational and/or disaster emergency conditions. Furthermore, this position requires work in a 24- hour facility and you must be available to work any shift as required by the operational needs of the MAA.

This position is located at BWI Marshall Airport in Anne Arundel County, MD.

Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience: Five years of experience in secretarial work * This experience must include compiling data, preparing presentations, and writing correspondence for senior-level leadership.
