Who You Are:

• System Engineer Analyst with the ability to understand multiple roles in the targeting systems and specific user challenges for those roles, particularly when engaging users.

• Ability to work closely with users (analysts, including approvers and adjudicators) to research and document user profiles, analysis tasks, workflows, and user scenarios in order to create user interface design from specifications provided.

• Knowledge and desire to work with developers to identify system discrepancies; communicates ideas effectively and can describe use cases and events and give feedback on proposed designs and recommended implementations, including any usability concerns.

• Hold an active security clearance with polygraph.

Basic Qualifications:

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements

• Confer with software engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces

• Design and develop user surveys to obtain user feedback

• Conduct usability testing and work closely with product designers and process engineers developing applications.

• Test existing software and document defects

• Provide recommendations for improving SE documentation and UX/UI strategies, as necessary

• (most importantly) be a contributing team player in an agile (scrum methodology) but fun, fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 15 years of professional experience; or 13 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree; or 19 years of experience in lieu of a bachelors degree.

• Active Top Secret clearance with Polygraph

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of UX/UI methodologies and research techniques.

• Experience in any of the usability and software engineering cycle phases (analysis, design, implementation, and deployment).

Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
