Belay Technologies is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to join our intel team (Mid-level or higher preferred). We have an immediate need for an Automated Test Engineer to support TTO 215, Report Authoring and Dissemination (RAD). This engineer will support testing of the new RAD application being developed to converge and replace multiple legacy SIGINT reporting tools. Responsibilities will include:
Assessing software quality through testing
Automating test procedures
Developing test plans, procedures, traceability matrices, and conducting test events
Performing functional regression, integration, validation, and compliance testing
Writing discrepancy reports to verify/validate software fixes
[Up to 2 days/week telework]
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
We cannot accept CCA candidates for this position, and polygraphs must have been completed within the last seven years
Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Master’s degree can be substituted for two (2) years’ experience
Candidates are desired to have the following skills:
Automating test activities and processes [Please note automation experience on resume]
Supporting a Software Development team in developing an understanding of requirements and implementation processes for testing
Supporting Agile software development processes
Evaluating the effectiveness, quality, and performance of applications
Identifying and troubleshooting system defects
Documenting standard test artifacts (test plans, test cases, test reports)
Evaluating web-based GUIs and API-based endpoints against defined requirements
Desired technical skills include experience with:
Using Cypress for test automation
Evaluating web-based GUI accessibility standards (Section 508)
Supporting application compliance using specific standards and controls
Using Jira and Confluence
