Summary

In 2023 the President's Office established the Ethics, Integrity and Compliance Office (EICO). This newly formed office is currently seeking an experienced professional to support the work of the ethics, integrity, and compliance officer. The EICO will help units coordinate ethics, integrity, and compliance activities and offer guidance on compliance questions across the Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint campuses, as well as Michigan Medicine. We are seeking an experienced professional who will be responsible for managing the full scope of complex projects involving partners from multiple units across the university. The project manager will serve as the point person by assembling project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources, and developing project schedules and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time, and within budget. The project manager must also be able to successfully navigate complex and decentralized environments as the role will also be responsible for partnering with and providing direction and oversight to the ethics, integrity, and compliance plans of other units.

You will report directly to and support the university's ethics, integrity, and compliance officer, and will have independent responsibility for a significant volume and variety of high-level administrative functions and handling matters of a confidential and sensitive nature.

You will regularly interact with senior leaders, faculty, and staff at all levels, and at times the president. Focused on providing excellent assistance to the ethics, integrity, and compliance officer, the position's demands are variable in nature, type, and volume. The job responsibilities are shaped by the demands of the ethics, integrity, and compliance office activities which may vary over time. This position will be primarily on-site in Ann Arbor with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule in accordance with operational needs. Work on evenings and weekends may occasionally be needed to accommodate the office schedule and events.

The salary range for this position is $65,000- $75,000. A higher salary may be possible for well-qualified applicants.
