Make a Difference

The Groundskeeper will be responsible for maintaining an environment of care which provides a safe, functional, and clean area for patients, visitors, and staff.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for this position should be able to perform all exterior trash and litter pick up and cleaning including entrances, parking lots, parking garage, and landscaped areas; maintenance and care of trees, shrubs, and flower beds; Maintenance and care of all turf areas; maintain parking and drive areas including patching, striping, signage, and curb painting; snow removal as needed; perform preventive maintenance and repair ground equipment and fixtures including fences, tables, storm drainage systems, lights, equipment, and vehicles; operate general lawn care and grounds equipment and systems; perform construction tasks.

· High school diploma or GED is required.

· Knowledge of safe hand and power tool usage

· Current Indiana Driver's License with valid vehicle insurance required.

· See well enough to read fine print.

· Hear well enough communicate on phone or in person.

· Speak well enough to communicate in person or on telephone.

· Ability to work long hours.

· Have mobility to stand, sit, and travel as needed.

· Ability to lift and carry heavy loads with no restrictions.

· Ability to work outdoors in all conditions including both sunshine and inclement weather.

· Capable of working in extreme temperatures (heat and cold).
