Providence Ultrasound Technologist - Providence Imaging Center in Anchorage, Alaska
Description
Performs all the essential functions of the Registered Sonographer. Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations and physiologic vascular testing. Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment of the patient's condition to determine appropriate testing protocol. Provides a technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis.

This posting is for multiple openings of Ultrasound Technologist at Providence Imaging Center. We offer several openings for various FTEs and shifts. We are hiring for the following positions in the Imaging Department:
Ultrasound Technologist - (Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 Hours Per Week).
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Relocation Assistance is available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Ultrasound Technologist - (Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Day Shift, Hours Per Week are as needed).

Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Sonography program (minimum one year in length).
Credentials with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Sonography Or
Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Within 2 years of hire: National Registered Vascular Technologist Or
Within 2 years of hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Breast Specialty Or
Within 2 years of hire: National Registered Technologist - Breast Sonography Or
Within 2 years of hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - AbdomenUpon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
9 months ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 month ultrasound coursework experience in Breast and vascular technology including clinical rotation
