This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the current Mobilisations/Transitions within the European Division of Data Centre Solutions. Manage the successful delivery for each of the required workstreams within the Transition to ensure overall client readiness prior to Service Commencement. This will include confirming each Transition is completed in line with CBRE and Contractual Governance, and each Transition meets all Statutory Compliance requirements under Local legislation. In addition, there will be a responsibility to identify opportunities and improvements to improve the overall client enablement and implementation functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages and supports the delivery of Transitions within Governance and timescales. Providing follow up on outstanding deliverables required for client go-live.

  • Escalation point for Client for the duration of the Transition process.

  • Understand when to escalate internally and obtain the required cross-functional department support to provide a successful Client delivery.

  • Host Transition Kick off meetings

  • Host internal and Client facing Transition meetings.

  • Assign ownership and accountability for all tasks included within the Transition Plan.

  • Identify gaps or missing of critical information during the handoff from sales and solution design over to the implementation phase.

  • Ensures CBRE overall operational teams are fully prepared for the transition from the Client Enablement Team.

  • Support the Transition Director for Europe by creating and providing regular reports that are suitable for Senior Management.

  • Manage the “Virtual” Transition team to monitor and report on pre and post launch concerns to all critical stakeholders.

  • Report weekly and monthly on the status of all Workstreams within each of the currently live Transitions.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Leads by example and models behaviours that are consistent with the company's values.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 5+ years experience in the data centre industry with operational or project management and implementation experience; Operational Service Management preferred.

  • Process improvement skill set.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to directly to Clients.

  • Ability to effectively present information.

  • Ability to understand the Critical Path of any Transition delivery and report and escalate as required.

  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues. Demonstrated high level of self-direction and decision making. Must be comfortable presenting to senior level client executives.

  • Requires basic knowledge of technology & financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.

  • Ability to , analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.

  • Demonstrable experience with implementations of Services and/or Software solutions

  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Vision, Excel, PP, Outlook, Project) and Smartsheets.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with dynamic objectives.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated high level of self-direction and decision making.
