We are currently recruiting for two Quality Assurance Analyst Banking for our Commercial Support Office (CSO) in Amsterdam and Düsseldorf.

Main purpose of the role:
The Quality Assurance (QA) analyst will be part of the Quality Assurance team within the Commercial Support Office (CSO) and will be supporting all aspects for assessing the quality of the quality check (QC) on Know Your Customer (KYC) files, providing feedback to Relationship Managers and CSO staff involved in the client on-boarding or client periodic/event driven review process. The QA Analyst is responsible for ongoing QA review activities over the KYC quality of client files and support MBE in maintaining high standards.
The QA Analyst will work closely with the CSO KYC Team and FI team, other customer-facing teams and Financial Crime Compliance to assess the quality performance of employees involved in customer on-boarding and periodic/event driven customer review processes for all customer types and risk categories. The QA reviews will provide reasonable assurance to management on whether the information is compliant with regulatory and internal standards and to guarantee high quality of all customers due diligence requirements.
Function positioning
The QA Analyst is a member of the QA team within the CSO organization and is responsible for performing QA reviews, liaising with stakeholders on identified issues and support the ongoing monitoring of quality trends.
The QA function forms part of the CSO which is responsible for review, control and independent recommendations regarding KYC/AML and Sanctions risk at a customer level. This is a service and support function in order to facilitate the working of the front line as risk owner. QA Analysts are responsible for the QA reviews of the European booked clients and financial institutions in the MBE Amsterdam HO and branches.
The core res ponsibilities of this role are :
Monitoring and assessing the quality of KYC files, to include (but not limited to) the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of source information, documentation as well as risk assessments and risk mitigation or risk acceptance narratives
Assessing the severity of QA review findings, following escalating regulatory or policy concerns as required
Analysing trends, root cause analysis to drive ongoing improvements in the quality of client files
Working in a collaborative manner with stakeholders whilemaintaining and adhering high quality standards
Provide training in the form of awareness sessions for reoccurring findings
In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following skills and experience :
Must have a Bachelor degree in law or business administration or country equivalent in a related discipline together with equivalent working experience
WWFT certification is an advantage
2 years of experience in similar position, or having demonstrated QC/QA experience in KYC work within the financial services industry
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Dutch/Japanese or any other language is an advantage
In detail:
Prior experience in AML / KYC in an oversight or quality role
Good understanding of AML and CTF framework
Experience with AML monitoring and screening is an advantage
Customer Onboarding and/or documentation analysis experience preferred
Strong research and analytical skills
Must have good planning and time management/prioritization skills
Ability to work independently and liaise with other departments
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to get up to speed quickly with new or unfamiliar subject matter
Independent, self-motivated, with an ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment
