  • Experience or involvement in planning, conducting, or assisting with recruitment or outreach events

  • Experience using a Customer Relationship Management system, particularly Salesforce

Join the dynamic team at Iowa State University's Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business as an Undergraduate Recruitment Coordinator (Student Recruiter I)!

This position is focused on the “I want to know more about my major” part of the Iowa State University admissions experience. With 14 majors in the Ivy College of Business, your main responsibility will be working with prospective students who are excited about pursuing a degree in business. You will be responsible for leading and participating in daily academic info sessions, responding to correspondence and communication from prospective students and families, building connections with high school and community college partners, as well as planning and executing fun outreach events.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, who can effectively engage with prospective students and families. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals are essential for success in this role.

Level Guidelines• Individual contributor position with developing professional and/or technical skills working under immediate to general supervision• Grasps professional-level knowledge and concepts of field while working in a progressive learning mode• Works on problems and issues of somewhat limited scope• Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data for which answers are available or can be obtained• Responds to inquiries and issues, escalating to manager or higher level workers as appropriate• May lead projects of limited scope and complexity• May provide guidance to students
