Description

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our legal team in the plaintiffs' law firm, focusing on asbestos litigation. This position involves comprehensive case administration, including filing and amending complaints, tracking discovery and motions, and coordinating communication within the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate case administration and ensure all aspects are handled efficiently

• Work on filing, amending, and tracking complaints in relation to asbestos litigation

• Handle the filing and tracking of discovery responses

• Coordinate and manage deposition calendaring and draft and file deposition notices

• Calculate and inform relevant parties of deadlines for any motions filed by the defense

• Handle the filing of motions and calendar motion responses

• Prepare and manage exhibits for court proceedings

• Schedule appointments and depositions, and arrange travel plans for senior partners

• Communicate effectively with other departments within the firm for case coordination

• Perform additional administrative tasks as required

Requirements • Possess skills in Asbestos Litigation and Litigation ParaLegal

• Ability to draft and prepare legal pleadings

• Proficiency in handling Discovery Requests and Discovery Responses

• Experience in Calendar Management and Calendar - Docket

• Proficient in using e-File and handling legal complaints

• Ability to work overtime when required

• Familiarity with the preparation of pleadings

• Experience with Paralegals work and procedures
