We are seeking an Senior Accountant based in Alpharetta, Georgia, United States. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in managing and improving our financial processes, with a specific focus on the month-end close process. This role is ideal for those who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of financial principles.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, providing detailed insights into the company's financial health.

• Work closely with other departments to ensure financial information is accurately represented in company records.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement efficient financial processes.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

• Communicate financial information to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.

• Participate in financial audits, providing necessary documentation and information to auditors.

  Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the accounting field

• Should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Proficiency in Month End Close procedures is required

• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices is essential

• Must have experience in financial reporting and general ledger structure

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required

• Experience with accounting software is preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary

• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

• Must exhibit strong interpersonal and customer service skills

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
