Position Summary:

Are you a budding creative with a passion for design and a hunger to learn? Join us at Profisee as a Design Intern (Hybrid) and immerse yourself in the exciting world of digital design. In this role, you'll work closely with the design, content and demand gen teams within the marketing organization, gaining hands-on, real-world experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other essential design tools. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, build your portfolio, and kickstart your career in graphic design.

The Design Intern reports to the Digital and Multimedia Designer and will assist in bringing our campaigns to life with eye-popping, brand-centric designs across all Profisee's digital channels. The role will have a focus in digital advertising and website graphics, but with the potential to contribute to digital and in-person events, webpage layout, promo materials and more.

Your Performance Objectives - What You Will Accomplish

Gain proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, mastering essential design techniques and tools used in the industry. Develop a diverse portfolio of design work, showcasing your creativity, versatility, and ability to bring ideas to life visually. Learn how to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate design concepts, and incorporate feedback to improve your work. Gain insight into the day-to-day operations of a dynamic design team within a fast-paced business environment. Build valuable professional relationships and network with industry professionals, laying the foundation for your future career in graphic design.

Success in This Position Looks Like

Assist in creating compelling visual content for various digital channels, including social media, our website, email campaigns, and more - while paying respect to established brand standards and output. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and execute designs that align with our brand identity and objectives. Support the production process by preparing assets, organizing files and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines. Learn and grow your skills in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, under the guidance of experienced mentors. Take on ad-hoc design tasks and projects as needed, contributing your creativity and enthusiasm to the team's success. Being team-oriented, developing collaborative relationships with team members, displaying clear and timely communication and thinking proactively - projects will come through your manager but may support other internal marketing teams (ads, events, demand gen) or external teams across Profisee (sales, customer success, leadership)

Qualifications - What We Are Looking For:

Currently enrolled in a college or uni ersity, pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. Basic knowledge of design principles and techniques, with a strong desire to learn and develop your skills further. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Other programs in Adobe Creative Suite like Premiere and After Effects are a plus, but not required Familiarity with WordPress and/or specifically the Elementor editor is a plus, but not required - we're here to help you learn! Creative mindset with a passion for design, coupled with excellent attention to detail and a willingness to take on new challenges. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
