Smith Pumps & Plumbing General Laborer in Alpena, Michigan
Smith Pumps is looking for two dedicated General Laborers to join our team! This position is demo work to be done in Alpena.
Duties include:
Removing/demo work for plumbing fixtures to include toliets, PVC piping, other pipe assemblies such as pipe lines, etc
Removing/demo work for heating systems/fixtures such as furnaces, and other fixtures
Removing /demo work for cooling systems
Locate and mark the position of pipe installations
Assemble pipe sections, tubing, fittings, using couplings, etc
Install green plumbing equipment
Replace hydraulic or air pumps
Keep records of assignments
Connecting heating and cooling systems
Installing auxiliary components to heating and cooling equipment
Mount compressors and condensers
Test pipes, lines and components and connections for leaks.
Wage Range: $18 hour
Typically work week will be Monday through Thursday, 10 hour days
This is a temporary assignment lasting for at least one year and future permanent employment available
