Bookkeeper Opportunity – Healthcare/NHS Industry

Location: Quakertown, Pennsylvania

Duration: Long-Term Contract / Temporary

Are you a skilled Bookkeeper with a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to collaboration? If so, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile census records for PCF and IL environments.

  • Attend cross-campus meetings to gather relevant census data when needed.

  • Update and manage financial asset records for all current residents within established timelines.

  • Support residents transitioning to charitable care following company policies.

  • Handle monthly resident billing, statement inquiries, and liaise with long-term care insurance providers as required.

  • Record ancillary charges (e.g., keys, utilities, meals) and process refunds for residents and waiting lists.

  • Log cash receipts and post payments per internal processes.

  • Track entrance fees for Pathstones, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Assist residents with VA benefits-related information.

  • Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding balances per policy to improve collections and reduce AR aging.

  • Submit reports and updates to supervisors and respond promptly to resident and staff inquiries.

Requirements

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong bookkeeping and accounting expertise, with attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.

  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in Healthcare/NHS industry preferred but not required.
