SUMMARY
The Specialist, Integrated Marketing (B2B2C) Strategy & Project Management at SHRM plays a critical role in supporting and executing marketing initiatives across both B2B and B2C audiences. This hybrid position will be responsible for ensuring that cross-functional marketing campaigns are seamlessly resourced, coordinated, tracked, communicated, executed on time, and aligned with SHRM’s overall strategic goals. In addition, the role contributes to the strategy and execution of marketizng initiatives.
The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day marketing operations and is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in project management with a deep understanding of marketing strategies. They will work closely with internal teams, including creative, social, content, product marketing, sales, and external vendors, to ensure marketing is aligned and programs run smoothly and efficiently. This role is pivotal in helping SHRM integrate marketing strategies across multiple channels - digital, email, content, direct mail, and events - while maintaining brand cohesion and optimizing marketing effectiveness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management & Campaign Execution
Oversee and coordinate the execution of marketing campaigns and projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal project status updates, managing schedules, deliverables, resources and providing frequent and clear stakeholder communications.
Maintain and optimize workflows for integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business goals.
Track project progress, identifying risks, roadblocks, and opportunities for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the Integrated Marketing Manager and other marketing teams to ensure seamless coordination of B2B and B2C initiatives.
Liaise between internal teams (creative, digital, content, product and event marketing) and external agencies/vendors to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
Support marketing leadership by preparing detailed campaign kick-off documents, reports, recaps, and performance insights that promote transparency and scalability.
Act as a marketing advisor for internal departments, ensuring that all efforts are coordinated and support SHRM’s broader brand strategy.
Manage key marketing tools and software, including project management systems and analytics platforms, with an eye for enhancing team productivity.
Campaign Optimization & Execution Support
Assist in executing digital, email, direct mail, and content marketing campaigns by ensuring project milestones are met.
Coordinate personalization efforts and audience segmentation strategies to enhance marketing effectiveness.
Help track and analyze marketing data to measure success and recommend improvements.
Track, analyze, and interpret performance data to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable strategies.
Ensure all marketing assets adhere to brand guidelines and are optimized for maximum engagement.
Process & Workflow Efficiency
Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes and workflows to drive efficiency.
Ensure clear documentation of project plans, workflows, and execution strategies for transparency and repeatability.
Support in managing marketing tools and platforms, including project management software, campaign tracking systems, and analytics tools.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
At least two (2) or more years of experience in marketing project management, integrated marketing, or related roles.
Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders across different departments.
Familiarity with digital marketing channels, including email, social media, content marketing, and events.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) is a plus.
Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing environments preferred.
Experience managing agency partnerships and/or working in an association setting is a plus.

CERTIFICATIONS
- Project Management certification (PMP, Agile, or related) preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Hybrid Position (3 Days In-Office, 2 Days Remote):
This position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office presence [three days per week] and remote work [two days per week]. Core work hours will be designated by the department. The office environment includes a standard workstation setup with collaborative spaces, while remote work requires a reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable home workspace. Employees must maintain availability during standard business hours and adhere to company policies for both in-office and remote work.
Travel: 0 – 10%

The hiring range for this position is $70,000 to $82,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
