Job Summary:

The Program Manager will join a collaborative team environment, providing leadership necessary toward the successful delivery of projects and effective communication with customer and staff for reporting project status. The Program Manager will provide expertise and guidance which includes defining and delivering the projects objectives, overseeing quality control throughout the project life cycle, and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver the project according to plan. The Program Manager plays a leadership role in structuring and planning client engagements, developing client relationships and managing delivery teams.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure alignment of activities with program goals and objectives, promoting operational efficiencies, avoiding schedule and resource collisions, and providing DS/C management visibility into ongoing efforts and resource usage.

  • Provide a central point of communication and issue management for critical production issues, planned and unplanned outages, and transition issues.

  • Generate Quarterly Activity Reports.

  • Develop project charters, plans, project timelines, and project schedules.

  • Ensure that all work on the program complies with contract terms and conditions.

  • Manage risks, cost, schedule, and scope of the tasks and ensure that all deliverables are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Provide project oversight including project execution, performance tracking and performance reporting. Also support transition in and transition out activities.

  • Create and maintain all contract deliverables such as weekly status report; project plans; support logs, monthly status report, etc.

  • Work with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), the task order-level TMs, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives.

  • Ensure that the technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner.

  • Implement and coordinate project management policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Track and report designated metrics for the Office and subordinate Divisions.

  • Monitor, review, and assist with project plan development within the Office and subordinate Divisions.

  • Develop performance reports quarterly for the Office.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience managing multiple projects of various complexities (small / medium / large projects), resources of varying experiences and multiple customer bases.

  • Proven experience in managing the budget across these projects.

  • Proven experience in presenting to leaders of the organization.

  • Minimum 3 years managing software development projects.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience performing software development and support, with emphasis on SharePoint.
