Position Description

The operations administrator performs various clerical and administrative functions required in support of operations in the region. Essential duties and responsibilities: • Generates daily and monthly reports • Performs general office duties, such as ordering supplies, answering phone calls, etc. • Creates and maintains database and spreadsheet files as required • Conducts research and compiles and creates statistical reports • Codes, copies, files, and distributes invoices • Completes travel arrangements • Keeps lines of communication open between other company personnel • Creates a positive and professional office atmosphere • Completes appropriate documentation and paperwork • Reviews and submits biweekly timesheets and leave request forms • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Education and/or experience: • High school degree and two years of office and clerical experience or equivalent combination of both • Follows company policies, practices, and regulatory requirements • Working knowledge and/or skills in word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and other computer applications Travel: • Rarely, as needed Qualifications: • Good verbal and written communication skills • Customer oriented • Ability to effectively present information in a one–on-one and small group situation to other employees of the company and outside contractors • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals) • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out day-to-day duties Physical demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
