Thorne Crest Retirement Community Maintenance Technician in Albert Lea, Minnesota

Thorne Crest is looking for a Maintenance Technician! As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform semi-skilled building maintenance tasks as assigned in areas such as: rough carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, locksmith, refrigeration, heating, ventilation, grounds-keeping, snow removal and air conditioning to assist in the maintenance, repair, and operating needs of the facility. In this role you will also assist with snow removal and some grounds maintenance as needed. Starts at $16.00/hr and goes up based on experience! Rotating on-call every other week Fri-Thurs! What You Need: Minimum 18 years of age Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record Working knowledge of methods, practices, tools and appliances of general building and facility maintenance Experience with heating/cooling systems, electrical and plumbing work, building construction and grounds-keeping Position requires frequent physical activity including heavy lifting, work from ladders, scaffolding, or in confined areas Who We Are: We are not just a place to work - we are a family of professionals and caregivers coming together to create a loving community of trust, respect, and caring.
