Clearance:Active DoD Secret Clearance
Work Schedule:Onsite Monday-Friday.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Cybersecurity RMF Specialist to ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of communication systems and networks. The role includes implementing security measures, developing and executing government-approved policies, managing network security tools (e.g., HBSS, IDS/IPS, VPNs), and conducting security incident handling. Additional responsibilities include supporting COOP/DR plans, performing system certifications, and operating EKMS/PKI systems. The specialist will also perform defensive cyber operations, identify cybersecurity threats, and take remedial actions using automated tools like Tenable Security Center and SIEM systems, all in line with RMF processes.

Critical Thinking Skills
Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed
Specific Skillset
Expertise in implementing and managing network security tools (e.g., HBSS, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
Strong knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and government security standards
Experience in cybersecurity incident handling, forensics, and threat detection
Proficiency in security automation tools like Tenable Security Center, SIEM systems, and Red Seal
Familiarity with Continuity of Operations/Disaster Recovery (COOP/DR) planning and execution
Requirements
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
CASP+ OR CISSP OR CISM OR CEH OR GSEC is required
Security+
Experience Requirements
10+ years of cybersecurity experience
Extensive experience with RMF
Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) & Encryption Management experience
Strong compliance experience (STIGs, Scans, RMF, etc.)
