JOB TITLE: Working together Family Advocate

MUSTS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Relevant experience in lieu of education may be substituted Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Highly organized and focused Able to adhere to multiple deadlines Able to follow up and communicate to gain necessary documents or information Able to work as a member of a team Proficiency in the use of technology for: Word processing Databases Spreadsheets Creating charts Email Internet Online meeting platforms Driver's License (Preferred)

SKILLS: The Working Together program supports community partnerships and access to services that will improve parent and child education, increase family self-sufficiency, and provide a path out of poverty for families with young children. The Family Advocate works with families to identify a vocational and/or educational pathway to improve the family s financial situation and financial literacy. The Family Advocate links families to early childhood programming to enhance child development. Using a Two Generational approach, families are able to grow and thrive.

DUTIES: Data collection and data input into and Empowor data systems and internal data system Administering assessment tools such as the Colorado Family Support Assessment, the Financial Capacity Scale and other data matrix on a regular basis. Recruitment of families. Coordinate financial literacy services. Review client files for thoroughness and compliance. Ensure coordination with other services throughout the community. The ability to coordinate with partnership agencies. Assisting clients in identifying strengths and developing their goal tree. The ability to assist clients in identifying their strengths while working with them to accomplish their goals.

WAGES: $37,000 - $42,000

SHIFT & DURATION: 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday - Weekends as needed
