Actalent Project Manager in Akron, Ohio

Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Project Manager to prepare proposals, assist in presentations, and engage in contract negotiations. As a key point of contact, you will coordinate with clients, manage strategic planning, scope, and budget. Your responsibilities include overseeing projects from conception to completion, which involves siting, environmental considerations, permitting, planning, and more. You will develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, control costs, and handle internal project financials, staffing, legal coordination, risk management, change management, and HR issues. Effective communication and implementation of project policies and procedures are crucial. You will also ensure that deliverables and services meet client satisfaction and that projects adhere to internal QA/QC guidelines. Regular reporting on progress, cost, schedule metrics, procurement issues, and potential impacts is required. You will be working on multiple projects at any given time. Experience with pipelines or renewable natural gas is required.

  • Experience in project management, preferably in aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transmission & distribution, or water industries

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 18 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position. Has to sit out of in Kansas City, Missouri OR Akron, Ohio.

Work Environment

The role involves working 75% of the time in an office environment with 25% travel to project sites, typically involving 1-week duration per site visit.
