Join our team at a top EPC firm as a Staff Project Engineer in Akron, OH! We seek candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in T&D space, design work in substation, civil structural site grading, and transmission line. This role involves big-picture project assembly, data analysis, and both team and individual work. A 4-year engineering degree is required. Excel proficiency, including Power Query, is essential.

responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily with planning portfolio engineers, client management, and sponsors to develop long-range integrated portfolio plans.

• Attend budget planning meetings and ensure the incorporation of the long-range plan into project budgets.

• Review engineering estimates, project change requests, and ensure alignment with the long-term portfolio.

• Assist in the development of the client's 10-year plan and compile rate filings for PJM.

• Create analyses and reports to track, coordinate, and execute projects, ensuring no conflicts and project constructability.

• Work with multiple client stakeholders to determine the feasibility, budget, and need for transmission projects.

• Interface with the client's accounting group to establish financial setups for projects.

• Informally mentor and train the client's portfolio engineers on T&D design and project management.
