Marcum LLP is currently looking Manager, Assurance Transformation to join their internal IT department team. In this role you will work closely with Assurance business leaders and the technology team to identify, define, and deliver technology products/solutions that deliver the highest business impact and growth for our firm.The successful candidate will leverage technology to automate and streamline our processes, enhance our audit quality, and lead change management efforts. This role requires innovative professional with a deep understanding of assurance processes and technology. Your ability to effectively manage projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and stay updated with technological advancements will be key to your success.The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of combined experience in audit technology and financial audit delivery with a mid to large size public accounting firm or professional services firm. To be considered, candidates must have extensive experience understanding and documenting process workflows, user stories and business requirements. You must have prior experience leading multiple complex projects and enhancing processes utilizing technology such as AI, RPA, ETL, APIs and the Microsoft technology stack.Experience with the Intapp suite of products and/or Dynamic Audit Solution (DAS) highly desirable.Requirements: AT least 5+ years of combined experience in audit technology and financial audit delivery with a mid to large size public accounting firm or another professional services firm. Proven track record in prioritizing and managing multiple complex projects and solutions simultaneously. Experience working with assurance compliance standards and regulations to add or create process and workflow efficiencies. Proven success independently gathering or a leading a team to gather and document business requirements and test and implement solutions for process improvements, technology implementations and/or automation initiatives. Experience developing business cases for technology investments, include build vs buy analysis, scope anticipated benefits, return on investment (ROI), and resource needs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify business needs, evaluate options, and recommend effective solutions. Experience with Visio or a similar tool for process for workflow and related process designs Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at different levels. BS in Accounting, Business Management, Computer Science, or equivalent Preferred Requirements: Experience with the Agile development process preferred. CPA license (active or inactive) Data mining experience is a plus Experience with the Intapp suite of products and/or Dynamic Audit Solution (DAS) highly desirable.
