ManpowerGroup Mold Operator (Foreman Department) in Akron, New York

Our client, is looking for a mold room operator to join their team.

The Mold Room Operator provides various departmental support roles in the Mold Room and reports to the Department Foreman

Job Title: Mold room Operator

Location: Akron NY

Pay Range: $19-23 per hour

Days and Hours : Monday through Thursday, 9am-5:30pm and Friday 6am-2:30pm.

What’s the Job?

  • Operates the molding machines for production

  • Grinds rejected parts for recycling as appropriate

  • Inspects product to ensure compliance expectations as indicated by internal Quality instructions.

  • Expected to make in-process machine adjustments based on level of training

  • Interacts with the department Foreman to prioritize the daily workload

What’s Needed?

  • strong attention to detail and quality as well as excellent communication skills

  • Basic shop math skills

  • Ability to perform work of a repetitive nature

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Performs inventory counts as requested.
