Description
Overview
Cadrex is searching for an experienced Staff Accountant to assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.
Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Assist in accounts payable and receivable reconciliation
Verify and complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable
Assist with month and year end closing process including preparing journal entries
Reconcile all bank accounts monthly
Assist with daily invoice processing activities
Maintain and reconcile petty cash monthly
Process remote check deposits
Prepare and enter biweekly payroll journal entries into general ledger
Coordinate processing and distribution of W-2s and 1099
Assist with annual audit processes and data requests
Assist with preparation of monthly reporting
Assist with financial statement review and analysis
Assist with preparation of analytics of spend data
Respond to information requests timely
Ensure compliance with GAAP
Other duties may be assigned as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
5-7 years’ experience in finance/accounting required
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Good problem-solving and time management skills
Strong communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
ERP experience required
Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred
CPM experience preferred
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
