Description

Overview

Cadrex is searching for an experienced Staff Accountant to assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Assist in accounts payable and receivable reconciliation

  • Verify and complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable

  • Assist with month and year end closing process including preparing journal entries

  • Reconcile all bank accounts monthly

  • Assist with daily invoice processing activities

  • Maintain and reconcile petty cash monthly

  • Process remote check deposits

  • Prepare and enter biweekly payroll journal entries into general ledger

  • Coordinate processing and distribution of W-2s and 1099

  • Assist with annual audit processes and data requests

  • Assist with preparation of monthly reporting

  • Assist with financial statement review and analysis

  • Assist with preparation of analytics of spend data

  • Respond to information requests timely

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP

  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7 years’ experience in finance/accounting required

  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills

  • Good problem-solving and time management skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • ERP experience required

  • Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred

  • CPM experience preferred

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
