Toro is seeking an Extrusion Operator to become a valued member of our dynamic manufacturing team. Based at our Beverley production facility, this role is responsible for producing extruded product and components consistent with quality, safety, and performance specifications.

What will you do?

• Operating the extrusion lines to ensure product complies with quality and performance specifications.

• Extruded and molded product testing while maintaining quality records.

• Troubleshooting faults and identifying causes of manufacturing defects and interruptions.

• Identifying, recommending, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

• Sample taking and visual inspection of molded product.

This is a 24/7 rotating 12-hour day and night shift role (4 day on/off roster) and is key to the performance and efficiency of our 24-hour continuous production operation. Reliability, punctuality and attendance is essential.

What do you need?

• Prior experience as a machine operator within a continuous manufacturing setting. Plastics extrusion experience would be an advantage.

• Strong mechanical aptitude coupled with well-developed problem solving and diagnostic skills.

• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and also co-operatively as part of a successful team and perform work to company standards.

• High levels of energy and motivation, coupled with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.

• A valid forklift license.
